Fall Bible Study

This fall, Pastor Alex will be leading a Bible study entitled The Sermon on the Mount: A Beginner's Guide to the Kingdom of Heaven, written by New Testament scholar Amy-Jill Levine. With particular attention to its historical context & Jesus' Jewish identity, we will discuss how the Sermon on the Mount in the Gospel of Matthew offers a type of road map for our faith. 

We invite you to join us for robust discussions with many different learning opportunities. All sessions will be offered both at 11:00AM & 7:00PM; come for whatever time works for you! Each session will last 1 hour. 

The sessions will be as follows (both in-person in the Good News Center library & on Zoom):

While prior reading is not required to participate in this study, reading along in the accompanying book will offer helpful context. We invite you to follow along chapter by chapter as we move through this study. To purchase a book, please stop by the office during office hours (Tues-Fri 9:00AM-3:00PM).
