Today’s scripture reading (1 Cor. 12:12-31a) is about the church being one body made up of many different individuals who have placed their faith in Jesus. Just like a human body is made up of many different parts, yet functions as one unit, the Church, which is the body of Christ, is composed of many individuals, all united together as one body through their faith in Christ, each with their own unique gifts and each plays an important part of the church.
